Description
Lalita Devi Temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, located in Prayagraj (Allahabad), near the sacred Sangam where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers meet. The goddess is worshipped as Lalita, a graceful form of Shakti.
History
The temple has ancient origins and is situated in one of the holiest cities in Hinduism. Prayagraj hosts the Kumbh Mela, the largest religious gathering in the world.
