Description
Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga and stands on the western bank of the holy river Ganga.
History
The original temple was destroyed multiple times. The present temple was built in 1780 by Ahilyabai Holkar. The Kashi Vishwanath Corridor project completed in 2021 transformed the temple complex into a grand spiritual precinct.
Architecture
The temple has three domes, two of which are gold-plated with 800 kg of gold donated by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The spire is a fine example of Nagara architecture.
Legends & Stories
Varanasi is believed to be the city of Lord Shiva. According to legends, Lord Shiva himself established the Jyotirlinga here. The city is considered the center of the universe in Hindu cosmology.

Varanasi has Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. Varanasi Junction is a major railway hub. Well connected by NH-2 from Delhi and Kolkata.

History
मूल मंदिर कई बार नष्ट किया गया। वर्तमान मंदिर 1780 में अहिल्याबाई होल्कर द्वारा बनाया गया था।
Architecture
मंदिर में तीन गुंबद हैं जिनमें से दो 800 किलो सोने से मढ़े हुए हैं।

वाराणसी को भगवान शिव की नगरी माना जाता है। कहा जाता है कि भगवान शिव ने स्वयं यहाँ ज्योतिर्लिंग की स्थापना की।

காசி விஸ்வநாதர் கோயில் சிவபெருமானுக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கப்பட்ட மிகப் புகழ்பெற்ற இந்து கோயில்களில் ஒன்றாகும். இந்தியாவின் ஆன்மீக தலைநகரான வாரணாசியில் அமைந்துள்ளது.
History
அசல் கோயில் பல முறை அழிக்கப்பட்டது. தற்போதைய கோயில் 1780 இல் அகில்யாபாய் ஹோல்கரால் கட்டப்பட்டது.
Architecture
கோயிலில் மூன்று கோபுரங்கள் உள்ளன, அவற்றில் இரண்டு தங்கத்தால் பூசப்பட்டவை.
