Description
Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, located between Dwarka and the island of Bet Dwarka in Gujarat. It is also known as Nagnath and features one of the tallest Shiva statues in the world.
History
The temple has ancient origins and is mentioned in the Shiva Purana. The 25-meter tall statue of Lord Shiva in meditation pose was installed in recent times and is visible from a great distance.
Architecture
The main temple houses the Jyotirlinga below ground level. The outer complex features a massive 25-meter statue of Shiva in dhyana mudra, one of the tallest outdoor statues of Shiva.
Legends & Stories
A Shiva devotee named Supriya was imprisoned by a demon named Daruka. Supriya prayed to Lord Shiva who appeared and destroyed the demon. Shiva then took up residence here as Nageshwar.

Located 17 km from Dwarka. Nearest airport is Jamnagar (137 km from Dwarka). Nearest railway station is Dwarka. Auto-rickshaw from Dwarka town.

सुप्रिया नामक शिव भक्त को दारुका राक्षस ने बंदी बनाया। शिव ने प्रकट होकर राक्षस का वध किया।

ஜோதிர்லிங்கம் நிலத்தடியில் உள்ளது. வெளியே 25 மீட்டர் சிவன் சிலை.

சுப்ரியா என்ற சிவபக்தனை தாருகா அரக்கன் சிறைபிடித்தான். சிவன் அரக்கனை அழித்தார்.
